Storyline

Danny looks forward to 6 hours of Christmas cheer with his daughter, despite a crappy tree. Alex however faces the gate of hell when yakuza contacts lead to the conclusion his father's murder, Victor Hesse, must be alive, having murdered a rival arms dealer. Chin feels the flames when collared with a radio-controlled explosive device as the governor refuses to negotiate, let alone pay Hesse $10,000,000, ransom in mere hours. The team is reduced to 'borrowing' the cash from an underground evidence room. Hesse however has another hellish surprise in store, and reports to an even darker fiend. Written by KGF Vissers

Trivia

There is a reference to a case that Chin Ho worked on prior to his termination from the Honolulu Police Department involving the asset forfeiture locker where seized money totaling $28 million from major narcotics cases are held. Chin revealed the background of his HPD past where he was working on the case and some of the seized drug money (around $200,000) was reported missing which prompted the false allegations that he was receiving payoffs and being falsely accused of theft. It was the case that he was working on which he cannot drop the charges. See more »

Dae Kim In the Lead and Why Steve Drives Danny's Car!
20 February 2013 | by (Seymour Tennessee) – See all my reviews

Daniel Dae Kim shines as he is strapped to a bomb and the man that killed Steve's father played by Buffy the Vampire Slayer's alum James Masters is demanding $10M in cash.

As the team must race to save Kim's Chin Ho's life. As Kim is full of angst and anxiety with his life on the line. And Governor Jamison refusing to negotiate with the terrorists.

In the end, a big fight with McGarrett and Masters occurs. With McGarrett of course gaining in the upper hand.

We notice that Steve likes to drive Danny's car as he does have control issues and can be a jerk at times. But later on, Danny gets used to Steve driving as there could be a few reasons for this.

1. Steve is taller and Danny is shorter as the seats have to be readjusted. 2. Steve puts Danny through a lot as it is the least Steve can do to drive the car. 3. Steve hates playing passenger. 4. Danny insists on Steve playing driver. 5. Steve has better driving skills. 6. Steve likes to drive!

Need I say more?!
