Storyline

Danny looks forward to 6 hours of Christmas cheer with his daughter, despite a crappy tree and an over-sized Santa suit. Alex however faces the gate of hell when yakuza contacts lead him to the conclusion that his father's murderer, Victor Hesse, is alive, having murdered a rival arms dealer. Chin feels the flames when collared with a radio-controlled explosive device as the governor refuses to negotiate, let alone pay Hesse $10,000,000, ransom in mere hours. The team is reduced to 'borrowing' the cash from an underground evidence room. Hesse however has another hellish surprise in store, and reports to an even darker fiend. Written by KGF Vissers

Chin revealed the background of his HPD past where he was working on the case and some of the seized drug money (around $200,000) was reported missing which prompted the false allegations that he was receiving payoffs and being falsely accused of theft. It was the case that he was working on which he cannot drop the charges. See more »

Quotes

Danny 'Danno' Williams: Whoa, whoa, whoa, alright? For me. I just wanna know. Are we really gonna go break into a police station and steal drug money?
Steve McGarrett: I know what you're gonna say. Alright? We're cops. We don't steal. There's gotta be another way to do this. There's not another way to do this, Danny. Look around! Okay? And, by the way, I'm not a cop. I'm a SEAL!
Danny 'Danno' Williams: Okay. Would you relax? Don't get me wrong. Okay? Superman, bring it down. Just a notch. Alright? Our boy's in trouble. We do what we gotta do. I understand ...

I this show

Pure TV action drama! We have super bad guys bombs, guns and a covert operation. No! This is not the Expendables, it's Five-0. One of the team gets a bomb attached to his neck, and the ex-seal Mc G goes with a covert operation to get the ransom money. The team robs the evidence lab. Well acted, and directed with the above mentioned script makes for an excellent show! Far from real life, but entertaining. I hope the series can keep up such a fast pace. I give Hana a a Makehewa an 8 out of 10. I love the contrast of the two lead male characters. I think they compliment each other. Scott Caan has really come into his own in his role. I wasn't too sure about him at first but he seems to be more and more comfortable in his character.
