Just after Walter tells Horatio that the substance found in the murdered public defender's hair was "spirit gum" he adds that it is used to "make" prosthetic masks. Spirit gum is the name of the adhesive used to attach prosthetic pieces to skin but it is not used to "make" them. That would be primarily foam latex, gelatin, silicone or other similar materials. It appears that an old nemesis, "Memmo Fierra," is back in town and back in business, now taking over the local's big crime gang, the Mala Noche. He used to run it, but when thrown in jail others took it over. Now he wants his top spot back.
Mala Noche, by the way translates into something like "bad night." Feel free to correct me, if I am wrong about that.
Anyway, Memmo's old-man disguise in this episode is kind of cool.
As the headline on the episode, Memmo has his "last stand" and you figure out that Caine finally gets the best of this bad boy. Good episode.
