Terrific episode where a grieving mother-in-law accuses her new daughter-in-law of murder when the former's son turns up dead after his new wife is allegedly kidnapped.
Everything points to the mother's accusations until it is discovered that we have a serial killer on the loose. The guy was jilted at the altar by his wife-to-be, so he later killed her and has gone on an apparent killing spree within the year of newlywed couples.
Both Steve and Danny show compassion for the new widow, and the hell that hath no fury mother-in-law has plenty of apologies to make when the truth comes out.
Terrific investigation leading to the guilty party is as always well done.
