If you overlook the fact that the entire storyline of Steph being on
trial for causing a fatal accident has suddenly vanished, aside from a
few mentions, this isn't a bad episode.Steph suddenly deciding she
wants Adam back, thanks to some rather heavy-handed persuasion from
Toadie and Libby, isn't as bad as it could have been and they do at
least stop to think about how Dan would be affected. The idea that she's
worried about the effect it will have on her friendship with Libby is
good but then just gets brushed aside in minutes, apparently disposing
of a potential departure avenue.
There's a few other good moments, from Natasha's "Go, Team You!" to
Sophie and withering asides at Cat to Andrew's reaction to having
Michael as his tutor. The other plot line of Rebecca leaving the door
open so Michael can see she and Paul are in separate beds and then
confiding in him, sort of, feels a bit surprised and is probably going
to cop out next episode.
