With the wedding of Dr. Ogden and Dr. Darcy Garland just days away, Detective Murdoch awakens from a drugged stupor at a crime scene to find that he is the prime suspect in the murder of Randolph Littlefair, the guest of honor at the previous night's Alice in Wonderland costume party. Inspector Brackenreid believes Murdoch was framed, but when Station House 3's Inspector Giles (Nigel Bennett) is handed the case, Giles orders Murdoch jailed until the truth is known. Giles interrogates Murdoch about the party, but nothing in Murdoch's hazy memory can exonerate him. The case against him grows even stronger when it's learned he arrested Littlefair years earlier. The fact that Littlefair wasn't convicted suggests Murdoch took the law into his own hands. To discover the truth, Murdoch escapes from jail to look for the one guest at the party who knew Littlefair back then as well. Meanwhile, Ruby Ogden discovers that Murdoch had intended to propose to her sister, Julia - throwing Julia into ... Written by Shaftesbury Films

Special effects amazing, lots of heart wrenching decisions

Murdoch, Dr Odgen and her sister Ruby attend a Alice in Wonderland party given by a friend. Murdoch is dressed as a character with a big bow and top hat. A man dressed as a turtle is found dead in bed at the party and Murdoch is passed out in a room in bed in the same house.

The investigation makes it look like Murdoch is the killer. Crabtree and his boss Inspector Brackenreid do not believe Murdoch is the killer but a cop from another precinct is sent to investigate. Inspector Giles seems nice. He is strict with the police rules policeman or not.

It comes out that Murdoch was coerced into drinking liquor at the party by Ruby Odgen (who is very bossy). Later he starts hallucinating. The special effects at this time is amazing. It shows him going into a toy house. That is the way he sees it. As he enters he falls into a big hole and goes down spinning in a tornado like wind then onto a bed. He has a hard time explaining to Inspector Giles what happened other than he thought he was drugged. Later it comes out he was drugged.

Crabtree finds a letter and a ring in Murdoch's desk proposing to Dr Ogden but she gets on the train before he could ask her to marry him and that was many months ago. Ruby the sister is there and grabs the letter and ring from Crabtree. She tells her sister who she calls Jules who is Julia Odgen. Dr Ogden is disturbed because her wedding is planned and Murdoch did not approach her again. Ruby is bossy but she gives Jules good advice about love an marriage, I have to say I agree with her.

Later it is found out who killed the man, where the hallucinatory drugs came from and why the person killed the man.

Murdoch escapes jail and gets suspended, he also lets a prisoner go free without permission and does not attend the wedding ceremony of Dr Julia Ogden the love of his life to Dr Darcy Garland.

Very surprised at him breaking the law but also a very emotional ending.
