I wasn't sure what to expect when I turned on this show. I was pleasantly surprised to find a better Survivor (one without drama). The premise of the show is that the three person teams compete for the grand prize. After each expedition (episode)-13 total for this season- the team that makes it to the finish line last is eliminated. Winning teams get a head start in the order that they made it to the finish the previous day. Along the way, teams have challenges that they must complete before moving on. These challenges can move a team from 1st place to last place if they are bad at it. This gives teams a chance to catch up if they are having a bad day. The problem is that teams can be eliminated just for bad performance on a challenge.
