Las Vegas Magic With A Twist
18 November 2010 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This episode is a feel good episode & the script is quite effective as brought off by Belushi & cast. There are 2 cases here. One involves the widow of a construction accident where her husband was tragically killed. While she is not entirely distraught by his death, she retains Belushi for the higher moral ground- to do her part to prevent other deaths like it. This story has a feel good aspect while pulls effectively at the heart strings & symbolizes all that is good & how to make a positive difference. It illustrates what can go wrong in a system where accidents like the one that killed her husband happen due to corruption.

The other case involves the issues of magic, internet blogger protection, trademark infringement, & the protection of the rights of the blogger. Penn of Penn & Teller has a key role in this. A fine guest star here because Penn shows he can be a very effective actor. The magic gives this story a little showmanship. It allows the 2 issues to merge at the end into a happy ending for both cases.
