Sex & Nudity

A man and a woman kiss and he puts his arm around her when she sits next to him. A woman dances suggestively in a bar while two men watch her.

A woman wears a low-cut dress that reveals cleavage. We see large paintings of men wearing shorts or trunks and their bare chests are visible.

A man makes suggestive remarks toward a woman. A man talks about love and relationships. A man teases two other man about having a "bromance." A man tells another man that his fiance is a "cheater" and that she has the "cheating gene." A man talks of a woman with another man and says, "She hates you." A man says that a woman is "into me" (she does not acknowledge the remark). A man tells another man that even he "could get lucky."

Violence & Gore

*THIS MOVIE IS VERY GRAPHICALLY VIOLENT*

**NOTE** While this movie is very graphic and violent the violence is very stylized.

The Expendables 2 is probably one of the most lucky 15 certificated movies ever. The movie was originally an 18 until it was cut to allow the 15 certificate, a lot of critics are still shocked by the 15 certificate. It is around 10 times more graphic than The Expendables 1.

Non stop graphic and bloody violence/gore including gunshots, sniping, dismemberment, slicing, and executions.

A man strikes numerous adversaries with two frying pans.

There is a torturous like scene in the first 10-15 minutes of the movie where a man is seen being beaten and being cut with a very sharp knife, they scrape it against his chest, these few seconds dwell on the slice and a bloody cut is seen being drawn across his chest.

A knife is kicked into a man's heart, he falls to the ground. We see the knife being kicked into the man with some blood spray.

Men are almost constantly killed with throwing knives, bullets, and beat downs.

In one scene there is one man left (enemy) and the team all at once shoot him. Very bloody, a lot of bloody spray. We see the bullet entry wounds and blood resulting from the bullets. He eventually falls over.

Two men fight one on one, where one gets the upper hand, hits him with chains and wraps them around the man with the lower hand and pulls him towards him and drives a knife into his chest/stomach area.

One scene at the end of the film contains a character's head held in a bag, although the head itself is not seen, blood dripping from the bag is shown. You can hear the body parts moving in the bag.

A woman pulls out a set of thin knives to torture a man. Actual torture is not seen, but screams and the sounds of flesh being cut are clearly heard

A man is decapitated and torn apart after being pushed into a helicopter blade, very graphic.

Profanity

Few minor words such as damn and hell

10 uses of "shit",1 use of Bastard, 1 use of Ass, 1 use of Piss, 1 use of Fuck.

*IMPORTANT* Chuck Norris is cast in this movie. He complained to the director/s that there was simply too much bad language, and that if they didn't cut down on it he would leave the film. All but 1 use of Fuck has been cut, the original script had over 100 uses of the word.

Smoking is done by the main character and drinking is done by almost everyone in the group at a bar.

A few characters are killed at close range execution style

Billy gets stabbed in the heart. Very sad/intense

There a lot of graphically violent scenes
