Seriously, 13 October 2013
Author: nysalesman from New York

They have got to be kidding? What's with all the reviews of people saying they were scared to death and even scared of going to sleep? Were these reviews written by four year olds? I have long be interested in the phenomenon of shadow people and this movie puts a new spin on it by insinuating that shadow people may kill humans in their sleep. However, the movie is a total, boring, dud. It starts by saying the movie is based on true events, however, the true events to which it speaks are the made-up "real footage" of the movie. The movie starts kind of OK and keeps your interest for the first fifteen minutes, then it just drags and gets more and more boring and unbelievable. If they used better actors in the "real footage" clips that were more convincing, the movie could have rated three or four stars. However, the acting is just horrible. Furthermore, the found footage stuff is laughable. My favorite is the laboratory footage. I am a scientist and have worked in many research labs (yes even at small colleges in the 1970s). Guess what? There is no lab, nor lab experiment, that would be carried out in that manner and labs just don't look like that. They didn't even look that primitive in the 1950s. The icing on the cake, however, was the thick European accent of the professor - for goodness sake, the old Frankenstein movie was more realistic. If you're bored on a Sunday afternoon and want to be even more bored, then this movie will do it for you. Otherwise, skip it.
