Ian McShane Has Joined The Cast of Bryan Singer’s Jack The Giant Killer

Earlier this month, we told you that Ewan McGregor (Haywire, The Impossible) was in negotiations to join the cast of Bryan Singer‘s forthcoming fantasy film, Jack the Giant Killer as the leader of the king’s royal guard who helps in fighting off the giants.

Shortly after that, Eleanor Tomlinson (Alice in Wonderland, Styria) had joined the cast as Isabella, “the princess who runs away from the kingdom and is kidnapped by the giants. Before that happens, she runs into Jack, the son of a farmer and makes a strong enough impression that he leads a mission into the land of the giants to get her back“.

Now, THR reports that Ian McShane (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) has been cast in the film as the Princess’ (Eleanor Tomlinson) father, King Brahmwell, who is none too thrilled about a union between his daughter and a farmer boy. »
