This is one of the episodes where they are really managing to make us
laugh a lot with some great ideas.
The old show video was on is just too funny. It is indeed reminding one of porn. What they say, how they move and they even have two beavers as pets.
And besides that we have some great stories about friendship. One is Robin and her co star and how they fell apart. Lily is scared that Robin will stop being friends with her because of the baby, but it turns out that it was Robin who was dumped by her friend because of the baby. Done in such a sweet way and about a realistic friendship problem. Good that Robin got to reconnect with her old friend as well.
The story about Ted and Punchy was also great. Here they managed to make it funny by the fact that both Ted and Punchy were worried about each other for two different reasons. And we can see that they are still good friends. Ted will be Punchy's best man (guess this is the wedding where he meets the mother!)
Barney has found a DVD of Robin's Canadian television show, "Space
Teens", which featured "Robin Sparkles" and Robin's BFF on and off the
show, Jessica Glitter. Robin considers it a children's educational show
about two teen-aged girls solving crimes in space using math. As the
others watch the show, they feel that it more closely resembles porn
wannabe. Despite stating that she and Jessica were BFF's, Robin hasn't
been friends with Jessica for about five years. Ted deduces that
Robin's friendship ended when Jessica had a child, which makes Lily
believe the same thing will happen to her when she and Marshall have a
baby. Since Robin won't talk about it, the only other person who could
tell the gang the full story is Jessica Glitter herself. Meanwhile, Ted
wants to prove that unlike Robin and Jessica, he and his old friend
Punchy truly are BFFs.
I Can't Help It, I Got The DVD For Season 6 I Just Finished The 2nd DVD And Have Yet To See The Third But I Love This Episode To The Fact That Its The Best Ep Of Season 6 Yet, Its Funnier Than Some Of The Best Of The Earliest Episodes, The Best Part Is The Beaver Joke, I Get It That I Was Laughing Like Hell When That Was On Especially When Ted And Barney Were Trying Their Best To "Look At It With The Innocence Of A Child" I Mean Robin's Kids Show. Overall This Is A Short Review But Garuanteed This Is The Best Of Either Season 5 Or 6.
