Storyline

At Christmas time in Sacramento, mail order Christmas gifts entrepreneur Bernard Ripple falls to his death in his fancy Santa suit, drunk and carrying a suicide note on a Christmas card, an out of character fake. Patrick discovers why he was drunk after 10 years in AA. Meanwhile the team like other CBI staff are suspects of the burning to death of sixfold cop killer EMT Todd Johnson. That's investigated by J.J. LaRoche, who focuses on Patrick, who in turn believed killer and victim were controlled by Red John. . Written by KGF Vissers
