Storyline

Xavier, April and ultimately Gina are proud and grateful when, after a last push from Alf, Palmer returns to the council and pleads their ecologist cause glowingly, even if the bottled water ban isn't passed. Dex drags puzzled Indy and suspicious Romeo along to Angelo's on a 'double date' with Dougie, who fails to get anything out of them and confesses to Dex it was all a ploy from Robertson. "We're really gonna do this?"
10 December 2010 | by See all my reviews

On top form here we have Dexter, paired with Graves to brilliant effect. There's actually a genuine warmth in their scenes together, so it'll be a shame if Graves' confession near the end of the episode sees an end to their interaction.Indigo has a nice scene with Dexter near the end of the episode but most of the time she's back to throwing a strop at Romeo, who hasn't actually done anything.Robertson continues to wander around achieving nothing.

There's some nice character-building moments between Xavier and April, while John gets to pull a rabbit out of the hat and make a speech to the council which...doesn't actually have the desired effect but at least he tried. His moment of self-congratulation when Gina thanks him is brilliantly written and played.
