The film was meant to be presented in three parts, however, according to both Doug Walker
and Rob Walker
on their own commentaries for different reasons they decided to present it into a six part miniseries. This decision was mostly due to the second part being too long and for financial reasons. Rob, according to him, saw this film in three parts and understood why many viewers were disappointed in the ending as he felt that Part 5 and Part 6 should have been combined into one part. See more
