Interesting Loop
Hitchcoc29 May 2019
Once again, we have the idea that life is kind of a loop. We repeat our actions and our emotions and our feelings are sort of cosmic. A man waits by the side of the road, standing by his Plymouth, drinking a bottle of soda. A woman drives up and talks to him. She is looking for "Lots of love." She is fixated on his bottle cap and other littering stuff. She hands him a box, wrapped up in strapping tape, like it has been damaged. They throw the box into a trunk full of similar boxes. Draw your own collusions.

Loop the Loop
Hitchcoc29 May 2019
This is another film that contends that there are archetypal events that repeat themselves. The characters here repeat their actions, giving love in their own way. A man waits by his Plymouth, drinking a soda. A woman arrives in another car and they interact. Gifts are exchanged and after a time a loop appears to be in force.

Excellent and moving Warning: Spoilers
I apparently didn't see the story in the same way as the other reviewers here. She sold her soul to the devil for "love" now. Whatever was in those boxes glowed. Why were they wrapped so shabbily? I can only conjecture it was to show the lack of value their original owners placed upon them. The man was in black in a black car and showed disdain for the earth as he kept throwing his used bottles on the ground. He was no guardian angel.

Spoiler I guess

Warning: Spoilers
I did not think that this was, a difficult to digest allegory, but hmm.

Yes this is a cross roads deal.

The man may have showed her what she said she wanted, to see if she understood what she asked for, as a test.

She refused that "chance" and he did give her what she asked for, love, she actually wants admiration not love.

Him being a descent almost caring fellow is not odd. Why would that be odd. Idk.

What would, say a fallen Angel be like after sitting just accepting fools souls, for eternity be like.. Big nasty, disgusting in appearance?

If he was any of those, then stupid ignorant People would never foolishly give away their greatest gift for a fleeting desire.

Now, a fallen angel is not supposed to show his despair or his emotional distress, over these deals, hmm ahh ok.

I think this is good interpretation of the Cross Roads deal.

Accept what you have and find the good in what is and never take what you have for granted and what you think you want, may not be what you want.

Here, take back the soap box I'm on, done .

And thanks for this, it did work as expected, an updated more realistic Crossroads Deal with real characters.

Brilliant.

Spoiler***darker view

Warning: Spoilers
I had to watch this twice. ----- The man in the dark car appears to accept 'souls' from people and in return grants them wishes. He doesn't appear to be sinister, because he warns the lady and even gives her an opportunity to accept love without loosing her 'soul'.

She rejects the opportunity to date a former classmate and looking longlinly at the possibility of receiving love like a rockstar. The man is upset that she freely gives her 'soul' even after all of his warnings and showing her in his possession it has no value. The last scene shows him waiting for the next 'client?'.

What do you think about my view?

Campbell Scott
Kirpianuscus1 March 2018
He was the basic motif for me to see this short film. and the motif was a good one. because "Love, Lots of It"is a beautiful parable about gift, chance, significance on a meet and the resourcefull past. it is an usefull film. for a romance type who escapes from ordinary definition, for impecable performances, for the bitter taste of story, for soda bottles and for a box near another. sure, for an admirer like me it is easy to write - it is the film of Campbell Scott. as a sort of guardian angel or matchmaker. but he is not the only motif for you see the film. because, after its end, a strange and nice state of soul remains its precious gift.
