Of how the controversial Andrés Manuel López Obrador who led the polls during 4 years and was voted president by more that 14 million Mexicans on July 2nd 2006 lost the election by less than half percent to his adversary Felipe Calderon Hinojosa. We follow for more than 20 months one of the most controversial Mexican politicians. All begins in spring 2005, he is still Mexico Citys mayor, and captures significant moments such as the failed attempt to impeach him until his self proclamation as legitimate president and his actions during the first days of the new government, led by Felipe Calderón, in 2007. For the first time in Mexican history, a charismatic social leader gives close and exclusive access to a film crew and agrees to be followed by the camera in the highlight of his career utterly convinced that he is making history. At the end he lost, we all lost.
