Marcelo Grion has been financing the film himself working as a waiter in 2 restaurants everyday since 1998 and investing every tip he makes everyday in the production of his film. In 2007 He filed for bankruptcy and has been slowly recovering. The budget of the film is well over 500.000 dollars. Two of his friends have also invested in the film: fellow argentine Juan Antonio Devoto has invested 100.000 dollars and retired italian- american pianist Felice Palermo has invested 30.000 dollars.
