- Belle tells us the difference between her and us is that she loves danger. Cut to Belle writhing around in lingerie -- but not how we thought. She's having her photo taken.
She's interrupted by a man on Cat's phone, saying Cat's in trouble. He knows Belle's name and demands she met him at a hotel. She says she's calling the police. He says he is the police.
Belle races there. She already knows he's Detective Sgt. Harry Keegan -- Stephanie told her. He's on her payroll, but didn't mention it. He tells her the room's booked for another 20 minutes, but she's not staying.
Belle comes home from work and finds Ben kicking a soccer ball around.
Her doorbell rings. It's her uptight sister Jackie, come to visit the house. The one who slept with Ben for awhile.
Jackie comes inside, where she's cold with him. Poppy gets off the phone to listen as Jackie says Ben gave her self esteem issues after he dropped her.
Jackie assumes Ben is with Poppy. Poppy says he's with Belle. Which is a surprise to Jackie, who knows her sister as Hannah.
Just then the photographer comes by to give Belle her boudoir shots. And then the phone rings. The cop wants to book her for two hours. He tells her she'll know when it starts. He's calling from outside the house.
Hannah says it was the decorator on the phone and they have to go now. Ben and Hannah duck out. He goes to check out stereo equipment. The cop pulls up to Belle and gives her a wrapped box. He tells her the instructions are inside.
There's a sequined dress and ear piece. Later, he gives her directions as she walks down the street. He finds her in an alley and starts in, having sex with her up against a wall. She says someone might see them, but that seems to be the point.
He tells her to stay put then walks off.
He finds her around the corner and leads her to a hotel room. He breaks in.
They're just getting started when the room owner comes back. They hide in the bathroom. He starts kissing her then they quickly go at it standing up against the wall.
Back home, Poppy finds Belle's boudoir shots.
She answers the door for one of the girls, Cat. She came by to apologize for her nasty client. Cat says she's nicer than Stephanie, who she looks after the girls really nice.
Poppy says Stephanie's her mom, then asks what she means by "looks after the girls."
Poppy looks at the boudoir photos again then breaks into Belle's room. She finds the ledger. And the business card. She logs onto the website and sees Belle's photo. She freaks out a little.
Later, Harry the cop says the thrill is part of the fun. He says they're the same and that their relationships aren't real. Belle says he knows nothing about her relationships. He says she might want what Ben can give her, but she needs what he can give her. Belle leaves.
She cries in the elevator.
She goes to see Ben in the dress Harry got for her. She suggests he come over and she'll make him a delicious Italian dinner and they can go to the theater. "So Thai and DVD, huh?" he says.
They head home and walk in to see Poppy, tear-stained on the couch with the ledger in front of her. "So you're a f----- whore?" she says.
Poppy asks what kind of man dates a prostitute. Ben defends Hannah, pointing out she's gone out of her way to look after Poppy while her mother's away. Poppy asks where she is. They tell her prison.
She asks if her mom was ever a prostitute. They don't answer.
Later that night, Hannah feels bad. Ben says it's Stephanie's fault for dumping Poppy on her. Hannah thanks him for standing up for her.
Harry calls Hannah and she ignores the call and deletes the message.
Hannah cuddles around Ben, who assures her everything will be fine.
Harry sits outside her house. "To be continued I guess, Hannah."
