Good except for one thing...
16 December 2014 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

...having listened to the commentary on the DVD, I am struck by the contradiction between the producers expressed concern for respect and accuracy in portraying the events of the time, and the attribution of the cracking of the Enigma code to the character Tesla. Every time I watch this episode of a series I really love, I find myself really irked by this misrepresentation. It strikes me as a shocking misjudgement. It totally ignores the real life efforts and achievement of firstly, the Poles and subsequently the people at Bletchley Park, including Alan Turing. I wonder if those involved have seen the recent film of Turings life, and if they have, whether that choice has come back to haunt them.
