Here the contestants had to create a high fashion look for L'Oreal and then a ready to wear look that matches it.
Gretchen is once again annoying. So what Michael C got a similar color? she doesn't own the color. She just needs somebody to hate because this is who she is. Also don't get how she made it to top 3, I don't see what judge see. To me she is always boring. Although I noticed that interesting idea Michael showed about the cut when the model was going. That was the one good thing.
The other top 3 I liked. Andy made such an interesting detailed high fashion, so original. And Mondo made a a great combo. Again very original idea with the kaleidoscope, I was hoping he will win when I saw the final results. I also like the ready to wear dress, definitely something that I would want to wear.
I am rooting for Michael C and think that Gretchen is right that they are worlds apart. He is way better. But I still see why he was in bottom 3. Th high end dress was the thing that failed it. It was both the bad train and also the fact that it looked so incredibly heavy for me. But I loved the ready to war dress. So beautiful and elegant. Also like how they said that his outfit was the one best constructed in the bottom 3. Who is it who can't sew again, eh?.
I did think that Valerie would go. But then I am happy she wouldn't. I actually kind of liked her high end design. It would sure not make high end but it had some beauty about it. It was her ready to wear dress that was awful. Was it supposed to be so unproportional? Yikes, I am not sure if it would be worse if this was planned or not. But so happy Ivy is out! Didn't win anything unlike Michael C, and left before him! Aaah sweet justice. Don't really care what she does now, I can't remember her outfit ever not being boring.
