Storyline

Detective Stabler goes to his daughter Kathleen's university to discuss rape prevention at a Take Back the Night rally. When a girl from the crowd accuses another student of rape, Stabler and Detective Benson are assigned the case. What emerges are conflicting accounts and fiery accusations without substantial evidence to back them up. To complicate matters further, ADA Paxton returns to prosecute the case, and Kathleen oversteps her bounds, which could land her and her father in hot water. Written by NBC Publicity

Quotes

Executive A.D.A. Sonya Paxton: [to Stabler] Your daughter? You didn't have the balls to do your own dirty work, so you sent your kid to break the law for you?
Elliot Stabler: Nobody broke the law!
Executive A.D.A. Sonya Paxton: What is wrong with you people? God! How many Brady violations do you have to get slapped with?
Elliot Stabler: If you would just shut up... just shut up for one second.
Executive A.D.A. Sonya Paxton: No, no, no, you shut up! I'll explain to you, okay? You just handed Chuck Mills a get-out-of-jail-free...
Elliot Stabler: Chuck Mills isn't going anywhere because I didn't tell my daughter to take the file.
Executive A.D.A. Sonya Paxton: Oh, ...

Christine Lahti returns
9 August 2013 | by (Buffalo, New York) – See all my reviews

This episode marked Christine Lahti's return as ADA Sonya Paxton and she resumes her oil and water relationship with Christopher Meloni. In fact it's Meloni who gets this case going against Charlie Barnett who is quite the player on campus.

At an anti-rape rally in which his daughter is an organizer she gets her father to be a speaker. But during the course of the rally Barnett gets denounced as a serial rapist and gets arrested right there.

Would that proving it was as easy. Many of us victims never came forward and now there is a lack of forensic evidence. One of them does come forward and as it turns out Barnett helped induce a miscarriage for his child. There I won't go into because his method is the key to the whole show.

Barnett is one good looking, lucky, and evil dude. Luck is the key here and a good defense attorney CCH Pounder.

They do get him in the end, but how is because a tragedy gives the SVU squad all the evidence they need.
