WAS brilliant
28 October 2010 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

When I started watching the Gadget Show I was blown away. It was pitched just right and was really the only programme doing what it did. I really enjoyed the relationship that the presenters have and lusted after Suzy like most male viewers!! However in the last couple of series I have become more than disillusioned by the majority of the items in the show. There are now far too many irrelevant challenges with equipment that most viewers, I imagine, have little interest. I mean lawnmower racing and orienteering and the like. I want to know about computers, household gadgets, hi-fi, TV and everyday technology, even cars. I always record the show and usually fast forward through most of it, which is a pity because the presenters are still doing a good job- even the newer ones. The programme planners just need to make the whole show more relevant to the ordinary gadget freak like it used to be.
