Actor Sid White seriously injured his shoulder after falling down a steep hill and into a tree whilst on set. The script had to be changed to accommodate his absence in one scene but he returned a day later to continue filming, removing his sling just before a shot.
Whilst filming the final shootout the police appeared three times to investigate the sudden appearance of the production in a quiet Norfolk village, initially believing an illegal rave was about to take place.
All the actors agreed to work for copy and credit only.
The original make-up fx artist walked from the film after a disagreement with the director, which added months to the release of the final version as most of the gory set pieces hadn't been completed.
The original script was far more disturbing regarding Kathy's demise, but with the role proving difficult to cast it was toned down at the last minute, and Claire Louise Catterall agreed to play the part.
