Quotes

Detective Don Flack: Mitch Barrett? NYPD.
Mitch Barrett: Who?
Detective Don Flack: NYPD. We need to talk to Mitch Barrett.
Mitch Barrett: You got a warrant?
Detective Don Flack: If I had a warrant, you would be face down on the ground in handcuffs sucking in dust balls, and we wouldn't be having this conversation through the door.

Lots Of Family Secrets Which Lead To Murder
3 January 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Well, is Chief Of Detectives "Ted Carver" a murderer, or at minimum involved with a crime that cost the life of his sister?

That's the big question here, which drives "Mac" so crazy that he has to be given a sincere lecture by "Jill" not to burn his bridges in the department if his suspicions turn out wrong. Mac is ready to tear apart the Chief. Everything points in the direction of the boss definitely having a key role in his sister's death. How it winds up is interesting. The story gets quite involved, with a woman taking the dead sister's identity and eventually, a murder taking place. There are a lot of "Carver" family secrets uncovered.

The most fascinating character in this episode is a big bruiser of a guy (Mo Gallini), who is a killer: "Mitch Barrett." His big scene, his showdown with CSI cops "Danny" and "Flack" is a beauty. In real life, our CSI guys would have been in the hospital or the morgue after their donnybrook with big "Mitch."
