After an explosion in Roger Cavanaugh's Dade County sugar refinery, trainee-foreman Eduardo's messy corpse is found in a processing kettle. The team soon realizes the plant was the scenery of bitter rivalry, especially involving illegal Cuban laborers. DNA tests however show relevantly mixed blood, later evidence that at least one suspect knew about it and may be motivated by inheritance implications. Written by KGF Vissers
Buried in a silo filled with sugar? That's what happens to a man here in this tale of greed, illegal immigrants, fathers-and-sons. So, an explosion makes the man an interesting corpse: one layered in sugar from head to toe.
There are a whole bunch of suspects in this case involving a semi-corrupt sugar-cane business near Miami.
All along the refinery owner. "Roger Cavanaugh" (Gregg Henry) is portrayed as the main bad guy but as the story progresses we meet other viable suspects. Anyone of them could have done it, for various reasons. Of course, this is not unusual in a CSI episode, but this one's a little different.
