Architect of Destruction (#6.5)

Warning: Spoilers
So Ted has a conflict with himself trying to understand if actually cares about the old building that would be destroyed for his design or if it is just the girl. Not badly done, although I was slightly bored. I am just happy some bunnies got saved.

The funniest story of the episode is the second story. About how girls talk about sex. The guys freaking out over hearing that their colleague has a small penis was very amusing. Especially how much it was bothering Marshall and how he acted with that guy as if he is about to die. It goes further when he gets all scared that Lily tells everything about his sex abilities to Robin and actually writes for Lily what to tell to Robin on the phone.

Insulting

I didn't like any of storylines but I hated the Marshall part. Lilly talks about how Marshall does in bed? And she wouldn't stop after Marshall tells her to stop? This ruins everything for Marshall. Let's just think that the genders were reversed and Marshall would talk about Lilly in bed. Everyone would notice and hate Marshall for it but now they just laugh at it. As an equalist I hated it.

Made me lose faith in Ted

Warning: Spoilers
This episode decides to show Ted's true colors when it comes to pursuing women, which is fine if it leads to a moment of self-understanding and growth. But in this episode when he turns his back on what is right just because he's not interested in the girl anymore, he just sickens me. There was no realization that he pretends to be something he's not for each woman he pursues, just a "Well, she's married, f*** her". He's doing exactly what Barney does. Yeah, Barney wants to just have sex instead of marrying, but it doesn't matter. Their attitudes towards women are similar. At least Barney is open about it. I lost all respect for Ted by the end of this episode, and that's pretty important for me in the series.

Worst episode and made me not watch anymore

I didn't watch any more of this series after this episode where Ted turned sleaze bag to help Barney keep his job. Barney who lies to everyone and uses women and throws them away. None of them know what Barney does at that company yet they all planned to have a building torn down to save his job there. Ted couldn't be honest with Zoey about why he was supporting her protest to keep the building (he just wanted to get in her pants and had convinced himself he loved her when he didn't). Ted is just as slutty as Barney with his going from one woman to another yet it's made to appear romantic because he's looking for "the one". Ted was a juvenile and selfish throughout this episode and I really don't care who he married after the way he was in this episode.
