This is a very interesting episode. Women are raped in the chocolate
factory and the rapist was never found after many years. The case was
not closed because they never found out who the rapist was. A woman
worker killed herself. It was thought she was raped too. She was from
another country. A finger was found in chocolate and no one knew who it
belonged to but it was saved by the police in a bottle to preserve it.
This story tells how DNA can be used years later and still work. A
owner of a cleaning company use to hire illegal immigrants from
Bangladesh to clean the places of businesses. Everyone in the factory
and businesses connected with the chocolate factory had the men take
DNA test. It was thought one of these men were the rapist. The illegals
got deported. Sandra says they got deported and the rapes continued so
how could it have been one of the men from Bangladesh. Gerry says they
can still get back into the country with fake IDs. The cleaning
business owner was arrested for hiring illegals he later changed the
name of his company.
There was a lot going on in the factory a married co-worker was having
an affair with his wife's friend. He had been arrested for violence so
they thought he may have been the rapist. Brian gets the finger that
was stored in a jar that had been covered with chocolate at the
factory. He has it tested and they come up with the DNA of a foreigner
on the finger and under the finger nail was the DNA of the man that
killed him. The foreigner did not show up at work so they don't know if
he is dead or deported.
In the beginning Gerry tries to stop smoking cigarettes. He calls up
his boss Sandra and wants he to be his "fag buddy". He explained to her
that a "fag buddy" is a person he can go to help him give up smoking.
Gerry coughs a lot when he is not smoking. He ends up not smoking
cigarettes but sneaking and smoking cigars.
In the end they find out the DNA of the rapist was substituted by
someone else and that is why that person did not get caught Interesting
investigating and methods used.
