Sex & Nudity
-
- Suggested MPAA rating: G or mild PG for some crude humor
- The plot centers on Falstaff's attempt to sleep with two married women. The two women lead him on to believe they are interested. However, they never actually do anything immoral and never at any point have even the slightest intent of actually committing adultery. The play itself is completely moral.
- Very vague and sophisticated allusions to sexual topics, but nothing inappropriate and nothing that would be unsuitable for children
Violence & Gore
-
- Mild slapstick violence throughout for comic effect.
Profanity
-
- None. The play follows Shakespeare's text exactly.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
-
- Falstaff is a notorious drunk and is frequently seen drinking to excess. This behavior is not condoned by the play itself.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
-
- Very entertaining and wholesome performance of Shakespeare's play. Highly recommended and suitable for all ages.
