Kristen Stewart Falls Hard in New Snow White Trailer (watch!)

31 December 2011 1:11 PM, PST | TheImproper.com | See recent TheImproper.com news »

Kristen Stewart rides hard, fights hard and falls hard for her charming prince in the new international trailer for “Snow White and the Huntsman.” Plus Charlize Theron’s looks really evil! But in a hot, sexy way. The clip provides the first glimpse of a world unlike any other Snow White fairy tale has ever imagined. The action-adventure fantasy film looks fast paced and heavy on period costumes. The first trailer, aimed at domestic markets, was released last month and the international version has been tweaked and is slightly shorter. »

29 December 2011 10:45 AM, PST | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

K-Stew had no qualms about getting down at the shindig for her big movie -- we love this wild side of her! Kristen Stewart worked so hard filming Snow White And The Huntsman, and it's no surprise she felt the need to boogie down at the film's wrap party! K-Stew, 21, was among the group entertained by Chris Sullivan, who used his DJ skills at the shindig. He wrote about the night for Red Bull, and you'll Never believe what song got Kristen moving on the dance floor! "[She] dressed like a young indie kid, I’d completely failed to recognize in the low lights of the club," he said. Kristen Stewart Is A ‘Fantastic Actress,’ Says ‘Snow White’ Co-Star

29 December 2011 9:41 AM, PST | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

You might think Kristen has a cushy life as one of Hollywood's most highly paid actresses but she doesn't take it her job for granted and one of the 'Snow White' dwarves reveals why she's such a pro! Kristen Stewart doesn't waltz onto a movie set like she owns the place, she's actually very humble. Although that's not a surprise, it's always nice to hear people singing Kristen's praises. Nick Frost, who plays one of Kristen's dwarves in Snow White and the Huntsman, can't stop gushing to MTV about our K-Stew! "It was our last day on Friday, and she has kind of a big rabble rousing speech, and she’s great," Nick says. "She’s fun on set. She’s a fantastic actress." Kristen Stewart Is A 'Fantastic' Snow White, Says Nick Frost

29 December 2011 6:55 AM, PST | MTV Movies Blog | See recent MTV Movies Blog news »

After the release of an impressive first trailer, expectations for "Snow White and the Huntsman" shot sky high. All of the sudden, a film that people knew almost nothing about aside from its star-studded cast led by Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth, became one of the most anticipated movies of 2012.

But the question lingers for many fans: can Kristen Stewart carry a film that isn't "Twilight"? She didn't speak a word in the trailer, which depended largely on a perfectly evil Charlize Theron to sell the film, and potential Twi-hard backlash could sink "Swath" before it even hits theaters.

One of Snow White's trusted dwarves, Nick Frost, assured MTV News that Stewart does more than enough to prove herself.

"It was our last day on Friday, and she has kind of a big rabble rousing speech, and she's great. She's fun on set. She's a fantastic actress," said Frost while promoting "The Adventures of Tintin. »

2012 Preview

28 December 2011 6:55 PM, PST | Box Office Mojo | See recent BoxOfficeMojo.com news »

With the U.S. box office poised to finish down around four percent year-over-year for 2011, Hollywood is setting its sights on 2012 with the hope that grosses can at least stabilize in the next 12 months. Similar to 2011, the upcoming lineup is packed with established and aspiring franchises and plenty of animated titles, most of which will be delivered in 3D. Considering audience interest in these areas appears to be on the decline, 2012 may not deliver the sort of jolt needed to revive confidence in the theatrical business. Click here to see a full list of currently scheduled 2012 movies.Looking ahead, the biggest title of 2012 will almost certainly be The Dark Knight Rises. The movie is the follow-up to 2008's The Dark Knight, which ranks third all-time with $533.3 million, and the promise that it's the conclusion to director Christopher Nolan's Batman series should guarantee the movie winds up at least over $400 million. »

'Twilight' Gets Trumped (Sorta): The 2011 Year End Poll Results

28 December 2011 10:03 AM, PST | NextMovie | See recent NextMovie news »

The results of our comprehensive battery of year end polls are in and with nearly a million votes cast (!) the message couldn't be more clear, as "Harry Potter" and "The Hunger Games" battled it out with "Twilight" and "Thor" for fan supremacy in nearly every category.

How lopsided were the final results? Well, in the voting for Best Movie of 2011, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2" edged out "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" by a margin of 51.55% to 47.99%, with the other four candidates — "Bridesmaids," "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo," "The Help" and "The Muppets" — combining for only .46% of the vote.

This just in: People really love "Harry Potter" and "Twilight."

Of course, the heated rivalry between fans of "Harry Potter" and "Twilight" has been raging for years, but with "Harry Potter" coming to an end this year and "Twilight" entering its own twilight, it »
