"CyberBeat" is adapted from a poem originally written by director Harrison Wall. He initially intended for a song writer to adapt the poem entirely into a musical format, however, was unable to find anyone willing to write the lyrics as well as the music. Eventually after meeting Connor Miller, a talented young orchestration writer, the pair agreed to write the musical together with Connor composing the music to lyrics written by Harrison.
