Super-dad's advice of sincerity helps inspire 'best man' Jamie to make a brilliantly simple speech. Brooke is finally getting married to Julian, and the whole of Tree Hill is ready to celebrate with them.
2 February 2011 | by (Mexico) – See all my reviews

So, for the first time in a very long time I kind of liked an episode of One Tree Hill. I was such a big fan! but lately it just seemed like they were trying to hard! I loved the easy atmosphere and the happily ever after, Julian and Brooke deserve it. I loved the way they showed their love story as Brooke walked down the aisle hand in hand with her mother, finally at peace. I spent the entire episode expecting something to go wrong. I expected someone to burst into the church screaming, or Haley's pregnancy going wrong. At some point, I even thought Julian was going to turn out to have a girlfriend, or maybe Brooke was going to drop dead. I was proud of the writers for finally thinking up a wedding without a disastrous ending. As a life-long Tree Hill fan, I appreciated it. Finally, after many terrible episodes, I felt the show piecing itself back together. There was no more surreal drama, no more cliffhangers... just honesty. Maybe it's finally time for things to get better. I certainly hope it is.
