The main character (Sintel), wears a tight tank-top the shows a bit of cleavage.

Sintel passes by a woman on her way to find Scales that has a midriff-showing outfit.


A man jumps down from a cliff, with the intent to harm Sintel. She stabs him with a knife, which shows some blood oozing out into the snow.

A weapon stab ending death; we see a stream of blood spurt out, then a large pool of blood coming from the stab wound.


An older man is shown smoking a pipe.


Sintel first meets her pet dragon when he is found wounded. Young Scales is shrieking in pain until she nurses him back to health.

Scales gets carried away by a larger dragon.

Sintel fights a dragon, but finds out too late that it was Scales, fully-grown. It is very sad; younger viewers will be upset.
