Gcb alumna Leslie Bibb has been cast as the female lead in Love Is Relative, NBC’s multi-camera comedy pilot from writer Dan Mazer, co-writer of the Sacha Baron Cohen films Borat and Bruno. The project, from 20th TV, Tom Werner’s Good Humor TV and 3 Arts, centers on a wife (Bibb) and husband who begin to see their marriage in a whole new way after her newly divorced brother moves in. Bibb’s Rose is a strong-willed, opinionated, fearless, wry-humored, “say anything” kind of woman and the mother of 6-year-old Maggie and 18-month-old Dylan. Bibb is repped by ICM Partners and John Carrabino Management. »

Rob Riggle has joined the cast of The Pro. The NBC comedy pilot stars Rob Lowe as a fallen tennis doubles champion who reunites with his former partner (Riggle) after hitting hard times. I’m watching this one since it comes from out Emmy-winner Todd Holland as a director.
CNN is cutting back on Anderson Cooper. The news channel has pulled from the schedule AC360 Later a “more relaxed” companion series for Cooper’s regular news hour. If you’re not familiar with AC360 Later, that might be because it was infrequently scheduled and would sometimes disappear from the schedule for weeks. Did anyone catch it? Will you miss it?
Vulture talked with Sarah Paulson about the upcoming season of American Horror Story. (Yeah, we’re already talking about next season. Deal with it.) When asked if she’s preparing for her new role the same way Jessica Lange »

Miriam Shor (Gcb, The Good Wife) has been set as a series regular in Younger, TV Land‘s single-camera comedy pilot written and executive produced by Sex And The City creator Darren Star. Younger centers on Liza (Sutton Foster), a 40-something woman who reinvents herself and starts living a double life; one as a suburban mom and another as a 29-year old working girl in the city, after her husband leaves her and her child goes to college. Shor will play Diana, the high-strung head of PR for Passion Press. Diana is described as a disdainful woman (known as “Trout Pout”) who likes to get ahead by standing on the shoulder of her subordinates as she slowly pushes them into the mud. Shor is repped by Gersh, Impression Entertainment and attorney James Adams. Austin Stowell (Dolphin Tale) has been cast in Ed Burns’ TNT pilot Public Morals, executive produced by Steven Spielberg. »

A Ewing is coming to Port Charles!
Donna Mills — best known for playing villainess Abby Ewing on Knot’s Landing — is joining the cast of General Hospital. EW has learned that Mills was the only choice to play a new (see: big) character — particularly because the writers are major fans of her old primetime soap.
Sadly, insiders won’t spill details about her character. She is expected to start appearing on the sudser in late February.
The addition of Mills caps off a big year for casting on Gh, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last April. Executive Producer Frank Valentini »
