Hackwork edition
lor_22 February 2016
Watching dozens of "Penthouse" videos gives one a view of the house style, and which ones rise above the norm. Cash Markman's lack of effort is palpable in this poorly done, "who cares?" porn offering.

CM has a confederate or sycophant filing endless trivia and sidelights in IMDb about the great man, stressing his world-record 800-plus scripts shot. To be that prolific is an achievement, except it implies what's going on here -cranking out hackwork material with little or no care to its quality.

Brynn Tyler is credited as the hostess, shown with binoculars in hand, introducing (rather lamely) each of five vignettes about indiscretions she's observed among her neighbors. The Peeping Thomasina is the protagonist of Segment #5 herself, a positive touch compared to many Penthouse videos where the pretty hostess never gets down with the sex action.

Problem is that each and every segment is flat, with dull dialog and no twists or points of interest. I watched a James Avalon feature (made several years before) the same weekend as this one titled Erotic Stories 2, and he had some interesting and highly unpredictable twists and turns to his short stories. Markman settles for straightforward nothingness, mere hooks to get the actors on their marks for wall-to-wall sex content.

Opener has Tony Rosano sniffing panties, a fetish. His better half, Oriental beauty Mia Lelani, is suspicious according to Brynn's intro, after finding lingerie in his briefcase and pockets, but immediately he explains and they hump because she's relieved. Boring and pointless and having nothing to do with the "Infidelities" premise at all.

Dylan Ryder wins breast in show for Vignette 2, with neighbor Randy Spears showing up at her house with an incriminating letter written by Ryder's husband to his wife. She reads the purple prose, Randy makes a dumb suggestion and seconds later the two of them are humping to get back at their respective spouses. Tons of infidelity in a reductio ad absurdum segment, again 100% lame. No O Henry awards for Mr. Markman.

The requisite lesbian sequence appears as psychotherapist Tanya Tate is treating lesbian superstar Celeste Star, and Star's hubby Kyle Stone barges in ready to accuse Celeste of, you guessed it, infidelity with her shrink. Kyle is a non-sex guest performer this time, and as soon as he sees Tanya he apologized profusely, in an embarrassingly poor mini-performance. As corny as it sounds, the gals get it on after he leaves, getting the last laugh on the nincompoop. If Cash thinks this inane sequence is a twist he need to go back to college and take some remedial English literature courses.

The buxom Juelz Ventura has outdoor sex with Seth Gamble, preceding a stupid finale in which Brynn relates her sexual fantasy (not even a real case of infidelity or anything for that matter), which involves lesbian sex with sultry Lyla Storm, and farceur Eric Masterson thrown in for a threesome. To call it an anticlimax would unfairly imply that what had gone on in the previous 4 sex scenes had been vaguely interesting. A total loser of a video.
