Hats Off to You (#8.4)
7 April 2015 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

In this competition the challenge was to design an outfit to the awesome abstract hats designed by Philip Treacy. I really loved those hat, made me want to wear one. Oh why don't we wear hats in our time!.

It was interesting that they had to choose a hat and work with the model wearing it, I thought there will be some mild drama, but all decided to stick with their model.

I loved Michael C's dress. Don't get why all designers were so shocked he won. It was so beautiful and going well with the hat which is great as he had some problems at first. I also liked Michael D's outfit When I first saw him do it I thought the cardboard idea was ugly, but the end design really impressed me. Also very original.

I hated those panties April made. What was she thinking? I agree with Tim, made me think of a diaper. So not cool. But I see why Kristin Haskins-Simms was out. Her dress really didn't go with the hat. It was so heavy and off. It would have been much better with lighter colors who would not bring such a weight to it. I am glad to see that she has a good career in fashion.
