Jane Fonda definitely knows how to make others blush!

The Grace and Frankie star was a guest on Today Friday, where she and her co-star, Lily Tomlin, had no problem explaining the sex toy empire their characters start up in the all-new third season of their hit series, steaming now on Netflix. While the two were pros at keeping a straight face while chatting about vibrators, Savannah Guthrie couldn't keep her cool, turning beet red in the face.

"Now normally, this would be the section of the interview where I say, 'What is the premise of season three? What is this new business venture?'" Guthrie explained. "But I can't think of a PG way to describe what you're selling. It's a morning show! Kids are eating their cereal right now."

24 March 2017 6:16 AM, PDT | PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news »

Lena Dunham has waged a very public war with that strip of hair, or lack thereof, directly above her eyes ever since making the classic pre-teen mistake of partaking in some serious over-plucking.

In fact, around the time the rest of the internet was first learning the joys of proclaiming their own brows to be on fleek, the Girls star was only just beginning to have success achieving a slightly fuller look, taking to Instagram to share her magical beauty product of the moment, RevitaBrow.

Since then, however, it seems Dunham has found an all-new tool to get her brows »

RaeLynn’s Ready: 5 Years After ‘The Voice,’ Blake Shelton’s Protege is Finally Making Her Big Debut

23 March 2017 7:30 AM, PDT | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

Allow RaeLynn to reintroduce herself.

It's been more than five years since the country darling first caught Blake Shelton's ear with her Pistol Annies-inspired blind audition on The Voice's second season.  "I heard this voice start to sing, and it was familiar, but it was also like something I'd never heard before," Shelton tells Et. "Instantly, she looked like a star standing there -- an unexplainable thing that she has about her that separates her from everybody else in the world."

Then just 17 years old, competing for Team Blake, RaeLynn was ultimately sent home by her coach during the competition's quarterfinals. And that's when the real work began.

"I went straight back to Nashville, started writing Monday through Friday, then got my butt in a van," the 22-year-old tells Et. "I went to every country radio station in the U.S., got ready in gas stations, lived off Starbucks and Chick-fil-a -- that's how it »

Loving the Skin They're In: How Nicole Kidman, Lena Dunham, Kate Winslet & More Feel About Getting Naked Onscreen

23 March 2017 7:00 AM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

Lena Dunham may have sparked a new series of conversations about onscreen nudity when it became apparent that, as Hannah on Girls, she was going to be unabashedly naked when it suited the story. Or even when the story could, theoretically, have gone without. "I've always been pretty confident with nudity," Dunham told E! News recently. "I mean, you can ask my parents, I was pretty much strutting through the house naked from the day that I was born." But more than that, she said, growing up in the New York art world, visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art every Sunday, she just automatically equated naked bodies with art. An Adam and Hannah Reunion on Girls Would Reverse Course For Both Characters

23 March 2017 5:00 AM, PDT | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

I had a chance to watch the latest episode of Girls last night and I must admit that this season’s been excellent.  Lena Dunham is really showing some amazing acting chops and her character Hannah Horvath is evolving into something I don’t think we expected.   Her acceptance of her pregnancy and desire to have a child has put her even more on the “adult” path than she seems to have been seeking but not necessarily embraced yet.   But I wanted to specifically focus on her relationship with Adam as that was the big cliffhanger at the end of the episode.

Quote of the Day: Jennifer Lopez Says Roles Like “Selena” Are “Few and Far Between”

22 March 2017 12:32 PM, PDT | Women and Hollywood | See recent Women and Hollywood news »

Jennifer Lopez in “Selena

“It was a meaty role, but it was few and far between, especially for Latinos to have a role like that,” Jennifer Lopez recently told Variety, discussing her Golden Globe-nominated role in “Selena.” “I think it’s still challenging for women, especially being Latina. Thinking about ‘Selena’ 20 years ago and to have a role like that, I was very lucky. I was very fortunate. But it’s still a struggle for women.”

Lopez’s observation is spot-on. According to the 2016 Celluloid Ceiling Report by Dr. Martha M. Lauzen, Latinas only represented three percent of all female characters from the top 100 grossing films.

Released March 21, 1997, “Selena” is celebrating its twentieth anniversary. Gregory Nava’s biopic follows the “meteoric rise and murder of Tejano music star Selena Quintanilla-Pérez,” Variety summarizes.

Since that breakout performance, Lopez has enjoyed a meteoric rise of her own as an actress, producer, activist, and musical artist. But even as “one of the most influential Latino celebrities of all time,” as Variety describes her, Lopez has had more than her share of glass ceiling encounters. So, like many women, she decided to make her own dream jobs.

“At this point, you have to create your own opportunities,” the Un’s first-ever Global Advocate for Girls and Women told Variety. “I think it’s the second phase of your career — you kind of make a name for yourself and show everybody what you do and where your talents lay, and then you have to take it into your own hands and be the artist that you want to be. I think [the industry] is still moving and growing, and it’s always a challenge for women.”

Lopez currently stars as Harlee Santos on NBC’s “Shades of Blue.” The police drama co-starring Ray Liotta and Drea de Matteo was recently renewed for a third season. Her other recent credits include the films “Lila & Eve” and “The Boy Next Door.” Lopez will star in NBC’s “Bye Bye Birdie Live!” in December. She is also set to topline and exec produce HBO’s TV movie “The Cocaine Godmother.”

Lena Dunham has always been open about her struggle with endometriosis, which landed her in the hospital twice. Her illness has had one silver lining, however: she was able to meet an incredibly kind, caring nurse named Jonnella, who helped her through everything. Which TV Show Is the Most Challenging to Write About? — IndieWire Critics Survey

Every week, IndieWire asks a select handful of TV critics two questions and publishes the results on Tuesday. (The answer to the second, “What is the best show currently on TV?” can be found at the end of this post.)

This week’s question: Which show do you find the most difficult to write about and why? (This was inspired by a tweet by Alan Sepinwall.)

Alan Sepinwall (@sepinwall), Uproxx

First, I apologize to the other critics for sticking them with this question, though it’ll be a relief to hear if they have similar blind spots.

But for me… man, is writing about “The Americans” like pulling teeth, in the laundry room, with only some vodka for anesthetic. It’s a great show, and consistently near the top of my best-of lists each season, yet it can take me half a day or more to make significant headway on »
