Storyline

Declan is now completely in the doghouse, with Lassiter's as Diane's cahoot and with Kate. Paul warns he's in charge again, could even take India, and makes Declan plead with Rebecca, who starts realizing she failed to see what happened with fund-shifting from 'her' firm, not to turn on Paul. Ringo's ma remains cold to hostile, even to Nick. Written by KGF Vissers

"Why are you being so weird?"
11 October 2010 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Putting aside the speed with which Prue and Nick hook up, and the fact the writers seem to have forgotten Nick already has a girlfriend, it's actually quite an interesting idea, which adds a new dimension to Ringo and Donna's relationship. The initial bickering between them is a bit too clichéd however, although the scene of them explaining their liaison to Donna is rather nice.

As for the rest of it...If this is being heralded as a special week, complete with excruciatingly poor opening caption, why are we being given exactly the same as we're always given? We know Paul's vile.We know he gets away with everything.Do we really need yet another storyline of something horrible but extremely temporary happening to him and all the characters getting angry with him and then forgiving him? It's time to move on.Rebecca and Declan's scenes are great and Erin Mullally does a good job given that Declan's motivation is changing on a scene by scene and sometimes line by line basis. But it's increasingly hard to enjoy any scene with Paul in.
