This version of Spider-man was not well done at all. Considering the names behind this show (Paul Dini, Brian Micheal Bendis, Jeph Loeb, Joe Quesada, Stan Lee) it is surprising that they turned out such a dud. The story lines, characters, and relationships are shallow, uninteresting, and just plain dull. It's all just flash and noise. They try to put as many Marvel characters in (Ironman, Thor, Hulk, Fury, etc) as guest stars to spruce it up, but it's still boring as heck.
Has anyone ever seen that very old Spider-man cartoon from the 80's called 'Spider-man and his Amazing Friends'. The one when he teams up with Iceman and Firestar, and has a little dog. Well this reminds me of that, except I think the old one has more depth to it.
