Plot Summary

Master Coffeemaker tells about modern world's emerging problems. As people become more educated, the less they get with their degree, especially in Finland. More and more people get an University degree but they don't get jobs fitting to their qualifications. Not everyone can be in top position: somebody needs to clean streets and make coffee. Themes in this film are: contradictions between dreams and reality, work life's growing expectations, problems of over-education and the way society deals with these problems. These themes are delivered though main character's experiences and everything seems to be connected to coffee. The film is full of humor and sarcasm and the story is very up to date in Finland.
