Right before Pete puts on the wings something falls in the background when it wasn't suppose to. See more »

When Dr. Hernandez is saying the Lizzie Borden skipping rope rhyme, which originated during Lizzie's trial for the murder of her parents, she says "Lizzie Borden took an axe and gave her father forty whacks. When the job was neatly done, she gave her mother forty-one". The correct rhyme is "Lizzie Borden took an axe and gave her MOTHER forty whacks. WHEN SHE SAW WHAT SHE HAD DONE, she gave her FATHER forty-one". Something that she would have known if she was being controlled by the compact, or artifact, of Lizzie Borden. See more »

Claudia Donovan: Hiya Kelly. What's up?
Dr. Kelly Hernandez: Claudia, you can't be here right now. I have work to do.
[picks up a hatchet]
Claudia Donovan: Hey, Kelly. Hey hey, woah, hold on a second. What are you doing?
Dr. Kelly Hernandez: Chopping Pete up into little bits.
Claudia Donovan: Uh-huh. And why?
Dr. Kelly Hernandez: Because I love him.
Claudia Donovan: And that's a beautiful way to express it, but, uh...
Dr. Kelly Hernandez: Claudia, if you don't get out of my way, I'm going to have to kill you.
Claudia Donovan: I'd really rather you just give me the axe.

The world in danger
1 November 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

H.G. Wells, now a bad guy, has left Myka and Pete in Warehouse Two as it fills with sand. They make an exciting escape using the wings of Daedalus. Pete gets the best snappy remark in this episode when he asks Artie, who has come to Egypt to get them out of the Warehouse Two, who does he think he is, Jerusalem Jones? The chase after Wells takes Pete and Myka to Paris and then to the mausoleum where her daughter is buried. Wells gets really nasty and tries to kill a lawyer in a gruesome way. Mrs Fredric figures out what Wells is after - the Minoan Trident, a weapon of mass destruction. Nice reference to a real disaster in ancient times that destroyed Knossos. While the search is going on, Dr. Hernandez gets what she thinks is a gift from Pete with bad results. Myka is very remorseful about getting Wells back as an agent and makes a big decision. An exciting episode but the revelation of what Wells wants with the trident is just too over the top. But it does make one want to see what happens in the next season so for that reason, it's a success.
