Warning: Spoilers
This episode was somewhat slower than last season.

The Prime Minister seems somewhat weaker as she equivocates between withdrawing the Danish troops from Afghanistan or leaving them there.

After a shaky start, Katrine seems like she's found a new home with Michael Laugesen as her boss.

Also there's an interesting dynamic as Kasper appears to have found a new girlfriend. And yet he called out the name of his old girlfriend (Katrine) while he was with her. So that relationship is off to a shaky start.

And finally after resisting several times, Brigitte has signed the divorce papers and that marriage is over.

Good Old Afghanistan
Hitchcoc23 August 2023
This involves the Danish involvement in the war in Afghanistan. A coalition of countries with limited resources joined with the US in a war that proved endless and unwinable. Brigitte can't get a straight answer from anyone and her fellow politicians are leaving her hung out to dry. She is actually on the scene when Danish soldiers are ambushed and this certainly causes her to have mixed feeling. Katrina is now working for a newspaper and the story she wants to write has serious implications. He editor is a tyrant. On a happier note, it appears that Philip has finally gotten the Prime Minister to sign the divorce papers. That's good riddance, but he is still the father so I suppose we have to put up with him from time to time.
