Storyline

Once it becomes known the Soviets are installing nuclear missiles on Cuba which threaten the entire US East Coast, the Joint Chiefs advise a military escalation which could remove the viable adjective from Cold War. On Bobby's advise, JFK shows enough patience and trust in Nikita Khrushchev's common sense to use the diplomatic channels and accepts removing outdated missiles from Turkey as counter-gesture. Jaqui has overcome her addiction took the children to Virginia because of his latest affair , but returns to be supportive during the crisis. Written by KGF Vissers
