Ray is not Jewish!

Jonathan is seen, at the start of the episode, talking with Richard Antrem, the man that married George's former wife Priscilla. He has heard about Jonathan's private detective skills, so he wants him to spy on his wife because he thinks she is cheating on him. For that purpose, Richard suggests to bring Jonathan into one of the closets in his bedroom while he pretends he is away on a trip. To Jonathan's amazement, he realizes Priscilla's interest is George, whom she takes to her bed, while an embarrassed Jonathan listens in the closet!

Jonathan has problems of his own. His relationship with Stella is not going as smoothly as he wants. To complicate his life, she suggests he joins her for a threesome with Warren,a former lover, something that shocks him, but since he wants her, he agrees to the kinky situation after talking with Ray. Jonathan comes out worried after the experience because he believes he felt inadequate in comparison to Warren, Stella's ex-boyfriend.

Jonathan confronts George about his sexual encounter with Priscilla. George is more interested in a report from his friend about his performance in bed, than in knowing that Richard is behind the whole thing. George is worried about some discomfort in his genital area because of the itching he has been feeling. A visit to his urologist reveals Dr. Kenwood is a woman. She discovers that George's problem is due to bed bugs, a problem that has been creating chaos in Manhattan.

Ray is also having problems with Leah, his girlfriend. He has been writing and drawing a comic book that shows graphically male genitalia. Jonathan, after the frustrating time in bed goes to see Ray, and he wants Ray to check his own penis, claiming Hemingway checked F. Scott Fitzgerald's member and it was fine. Ray insists in Jonathan checking his penis to see that both are normal. Jonathan is shocked to see the extra foreskin on his friend's maleness, to which Ray responds that not being Jewish resulted in the way his thing looks.

This chapter ends when Ray decides to pay a visit to Leah. He finds what appears to be an empty house, but looking in the bedroom he sees Irwin, who apparently had sex with Leah, stark naked in her bed.

This winning series has returned for another season. It is one of the best things playing on television today because of the adult material the creator, the real Jonathan Ames has brought into the program. Mr. Ames himself wrote this episode that was directed by Alan Taylor with great pacing.

The pleasure of watching the series is because of the amazing cast that was put together for the viewer's enjoyment. Jason Scharzman makes a great Jonathan, the alter ego of the creator. Ted Danson is wonderful, as well as Zach Galifianakis, that are the three principals in the show. The supporting cast adds to our enjoyment. Oliver Platt, Heather Burns, Laila Robins, Jessica Hecht, Josh Gad, Jenny Slate, John Hodgman, and Jonathan Ames contribute to the success of the series.
