Five Things You Didn’t Know About Chris Zylka

Chris Zylka is one of the more prominent actors today, especially following his three-season run on HBO’s drama The Leftovers. The show focused on the events following the unexplained disappearance of 140 million people at once, giving special attention to the cults that would be bound to arise after such an occurrence. Zylka played Tommy Garvey, a college drop-out who entered the service of a cult guru known as Holy Wayne. The actor has also played in a few famous movies, including The Amazing Spider-Man, Dixieland, Shark Night, and Piranha 3Dd. A few of his films received critical acclaim, putting

Review: Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017)

Back in 2014 when Matthew Vaughn was adapting lesser-known material for the screen, in the comic series by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, expectations were not exactly sky high. Few really knew what to expect from Kingsman: The Secret Service but even fewer expected the film to be the success it was. Blending a stylish cinematic aesthetic with Brosnan era techno thrills and Moore era comedy, Kingsman boasted crazily inventive action scenes, charismatic comedy that nailed the right balance of homage and parody and featured some enthused performances by a cast fully committed to the spy caper chaos. Naturally, a sequel was guaranteed but as we all know, following up a sleeper hit or big screen novelty can be a difficult task (see: Monsters: The Dark Continent, Piranha 3Dd, Now You See Me 2 and Bad Santa 2). So, has Kingsman: The Golden Circle managed it?

Well, no, it hasn’t

Saw 8 Actor Teases Billy's Return and a Roller Coaster Trap?

Saw 8 Actor Teases Billy's Return and a Roller Coaster Trap?
It was revealed just a few weeks ago that Tobin Bell is returning to reprise his iconic role as John Kramer in Saw Legacy. The Jigsaw actor has now shared the first look at Billy along with teasing what could be one of the greatest Saw traps ever committed to the screen. Yes, it looks like Jigsaw will be using a rollercoaster to torment his victims in this latest Saw sequel. The actor had this to say on Twitter.

"Next time you're on a roller coaster...look up. #SawLegacy"

There is little else revealed about the photo. Billy is Jigsaw's cruel puppet that he uses to antagonize those he needs to teach a lesson to. And it appears Billy won't be sanctioned off in a basement somewhere. The image below hints at a brighter, sunnier Saw movie. Or perhaps Tobin Bell was just out, enjoying the day at Six Flags,

First Plot Details Revealed for Saw: Legacy, Tobin Bell Set to Return

Remember that time when the seventh Saw film was supposed to be “The Final Chapter?” Lionsgate was full of shit. They are currently developing an eighth film in the horror franchise called Saw: Legacy. Thanks to Bloody-Disgusting we have the first plot details for the next chapter in the franchise and we also know that Tobin Bell will be returning to the franchise.

The point of Saw: Legacy is apparently to breathe new life into the franchise so that they can keep it going and make even more movies. Here’s the story description:

Saw: Legacy will begin with bodies turning up around the city, each having met a uniquely gruesome demise. As the investigation proceeds, evidence points to one man: John Kramer. But how can this be? The man known as Jigsaw has been dead for over a decade. Or has an apprentice picked up the mantle of Jigsaw,

Jigsaw Will Return in Saw: Legacy

Jigsaw Will Return in Saw: Legacy
Jigsaw is back, baby! Yes, it has been confirmed that Tobin Bell will reprise his role as the infamous serial killer with a game to play in this year's Halloween release Saw Legacy. But don't expect him to dominate the movie, as the actor is only expected to be back in a limited capacity.

When it first arrived over 14 years ago, Saw was considered a groundbreaking film in the horror genre. And it spawned 6 sequels, bringing the saga to an end in 2010. For seven years, it was a Halloween tradition. That tradition returns this October 27 with an all-new installment of the iconic series. But what is this next chapter about? And is it a sequel or a reboot?

Bloody Disgusting has the answer with exclusive new plot details and the confirmation that Tobin Bell will be crawling out of that proverbial grave at least one more time to torture a few well-deserving individuals.

Summer of the Piranha in development, 2018 release planned

If you’ve been itching for a new instalment of the Piranha series, then we have some good news for you, as Bloody Disgusting has revealed that a new film is in development, titled Summer of the Piranha.

It would seem the new instalment is being targeted at the Japanese market; it has the alternative title Piranha Jpn and is being produced by Hisako Tsukaba, rights holder of the franchise. Details are scarce, but we do have some concept art:

The first Piranha was directed by Joe Dante and was released in 1978, with the James Cameron-helmed sequel Piranha 2: The Spawning following in 1981. The series relaunched with the 2010 sequel Piranha 3D, which ‘spawned’ its own sequel Piranha 3Dd in 2012. Summer of the Piranha is in pre-production now, with a 2018 release planned.

New Piranha Movie Happening, Concept Art Unveiled

New Piranha Movie Happening, Concept Art Unveiled
There are no sea creatures that can match the terror that was permanently placed in moviegoers when Steven Spielberg made Jaws, but if anything were to come close, it might be Piranha. No, the Piranha franchise, which actually started as a spoof of Spielberg's classic shark thriller, has never quite been the critical darling and beloved blockbuster that the original Jaws was, but the series has persisted over the years and has provided some solid, if campy, sea creature horror. Now it looks like after a few years away, the Piranha franchise is ready to make a return to the big screen next year.

Per Bloody Disgusting, Producer Hisako Tsukaba is currently working on a new movie in the Piranha series that is set to be released at some point in 2018. The movie is titled Summer of the Piranha and is reportedly already in the pre-production stages in Japan.

Paramount Pictures is in negotiations to acquire an untitled pitch with Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes banner producing and “Saw IV” scribes Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan writing.

Michael Chaves, who wrote and directed the short “The Maiden,” is attached to direct.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but sources describe it as a supernatural horror-thriller that takes place on a global scale.

Already in 2016, Platinum Dunes has bowed “The Purge: Election Year,” which became the highest-grossing pic in the series, and “Ouija: Origin of Evil,” which bowed this weekend to $13 million on a $9 million budget. It also has a new “Jack Ryan” series at Amazon going into production next year.

David Hasselhoff Eyes Return to U.S. TV with New Series
David Hasselhoff is eager to be welcomed on American shores.

The actor has found much success overseas over the years, most recently exec producing and starring in the U.K. stage musical “Last Night a D.J. Saved My Life,” which ran through February. But now he wants to come home.

“I’ve been over there too long,” said the man best known in the States, perhaps, for his turns on the U.S. TV series “Baywatch” and “Knight Rider.” “I’m happy to go where the sun is shining or the snow is falling, but I’ve had it with the rain over in the U.K.,” he said in an interview, after taking part in a session for the new “Baywatch” movie slated to debut in 2017.

Hasselhoff could be primed for an American revival, of sorts. The six-episode first season of his U.K. “mockumentary” series “Hoff the
