Strangely beautiful and different.
19 February 2015 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

There is so much beauty in this film. I wish that Korine would make another film like this but longer. The scenes are like nothing I have ever seen in any film before. The abandoned trolley (shopping cart) on the grass before the motorway surrounded by litter, it feels so good to look at that, so freeing. That's just one example, but all of the scenes are so fresh. If anyone can deliver us from the notions and deep ingrained beliefs of what film and cinema should be and how they should look, it would be Harmony Korine. This short film is just absolutely great, in my opinion. I am not going to find meaning in it or criticise it too much because that would be pointless, this film is about feeling, this film is like music, there's a nice cool rhythm to it. This film is the cold breeze on a hot day where nothing matters anymore, if only for a brief moment. I would highly recommend this film to anyone who is looking for something fresh in the world of cinema.
