I love Alan Alda, but this info is completely old and inaccurate., 22 November 2012

I really do love Alan Alda, and I went into this show hoping to hear
some information that I hadn't been exposed to yet. Unfortunately that
was not the case. In fact, they actually spent (all that I could
tolerate watching, which was around 25 mins of the first episode) a
bunch of time discussing the "Neanderthals migration from Africa into
Europe". Despite the fact that Neanderthal remains have never been
found in Africa, and Homo Erectus migrated from Africa around 1.8mya
(or during the early Pleistocene).
In summation: Please do not watch this and expect to get any accurate
information about human evolution.
