Storyline

Gifted stable hand Kevin Kehoe's corpse is found floating in the pool of ex-employer Patricia Dixon's second home, electrocuted by vacuum cleaner. Jim keeps compromising his budding love affair with nurse Callie Cargill, whose experience as former horse ranch girl proves useful, to close in on ranch owner Patricia, major colleague Wallace Dosher, some of their staff and vet William Meadows, who were all involved in dirty horse race tricks providing plausible motives to kill brilliant but greedy Kevin, who also had debts. Goofs

Jim is shown changing the oil on his police car, a Dodge Charger. A few scenes later, he tries to start the car and it turns over but won't start. This is attributed to a loose/stripped oil drain plug. If the car had in fact run out of oil, the motor would seize and not turn over. Additionally, the pool of oil shown under the car is too small for the amount of oil in a modern Hemi as used in the police Charger. See more »
