Credibility Issues Aside, It's A Fun Watch
ccthemovieman-121 December 2011
"Adam Ross" (A.J. Buckley) is at work but hooked up to some chat site on the Web and some beautiful young French girl gets his attention in a hurry. However, within minutes after they begin talking someone in a black hood comes up from behind her and strangles her! Then the connection is terminated. Adam freaks out and chases down his boss, "Mac Taylor" (Gary Sinise) to tell what he just witnessed.

The problems in the crime are major because it could happened anywhere in the world. Who is the girl? Who is the killer? Of course, these almost-impossible questions are answered fairly quickly because - hey, it's CSI and they only have about 45 minutes of the show to tell the story. On CSI, everyone is a genius, apparently, because - thanks in large part to newcomer "Jo Danville's" (Sela Ward) psychological expertise - the suspect interrogations begin soon.

Anyway, credibility is never high in any of the CSI shows but they are almost very entertaining and a lot of fun to watch. This episode is no exception.

In side notes, we learn more of Ward's character, see one of the CSI's get suspended for three days, and get a tense action scene at the end.

Really??

Warning: Spoilers
OK, I have to say first that I like Vegas and Miami better than NY. But this episode was too much. There is a murder that is shown online through a web cam in one of those site where anonymous people log in and chat. Everyone knows that Internet is everywhere, but literally around the WHOLE world. Well, the team actually finds the place through some definitely impossible reasoning. But that is not all...the place actually is...ta daaaa...you guest it, New York!!! How come Horatio or Catherine didn't see this murder?

Come on...at least they should have made the website a NY-only site, or place a more logical clue in the murder video, like a sign outside, a radio or something more recognizable...
