When Josh sees the hieroglyphs for the first time, his hair is significantly different each time the camera angle changes.
Before jumping into the pool (the 'shortcut') Skye only takes off her shirt. But as she's falling, and when in the pool, she's only got on bikini bottoms, not shorts.
The Moon over Terra Nova appears to be much larger than it is now, supposedly because it was much closer to Earth 85 million years ago. The Moon was in fact closer back then, but only by about 3000 kilometers, which is less than 1 percent of the Earth-Moon distance. Such a difference would be much too small to notice with a naked eye.
Hunter says they're "80 meters down...", but when Josh takes hold of the radio to finish communicating with Commander Taylor he says "80 kilometers east...".
Maddy says that the stars over Terra Nova are different because the universe had 85 million years to expand until the present day. However, the expansion would have had little to do with it, as 85 million years is a very short time compared to the age of the universe. The stars in the past would be different because our star rotates around the center of our Galaxy, which would put us in a different position then as compared to now.
Maddy says that the Moon moves away from Earth at a rate of 0.5 centimeters per year. In reality it's 3.8 cm/year now, and around 3 cm/year 85 million years ago - significantly more than Maddy says.
