Profanity

Frequent uses of "shit" and "goddamn", as well as "asshole" and "bitch"

Some uses of sexual slang, including "pussy", "dick", "cock" and "cum" with some other language throughout.

The language is the main reason that this is rated TV-MA

Wilfred drinks and does drugs in almost every episode. Often during the end of each episode he is seen using a "bong" to inhale cannabis.

A lot of cannabis consumption, the main character often discusses and is seen using weed.

This is the other reason that that this is TV-MA

Wilfred sometimes acts psychotic in several episodes, speaking with a different accent, and acting as if supernatural forces have entered his body, although this is intended to be comical and is played for laughs.

Some scenes could have the potential to frighten young viewers.

A lot of times this show is very emotional and sad. Not for people faint of heart. The show has a happy and sad tone to it. Every episode teaches another important value that is needed in life. Like telling the truth or respecting others.
